Eugene "Gene" J. Foeller

Eugene "Gene" J Foeller, age 82, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday June 8, 2019. Gene was born February 5, 1937 in Lemay, Missouri to Clara A Foeller and Paul A Foeller. Gene is survived by his wife, Patricia R Foeller; son Kirk Foeller; daughter-in-law Judy Foeller; son Paul Foeller; daughter-in-law Brenda Foeller; and son-in-law Ronald Goetter; sister Claire Minie; grandsons David Foeller, Joshua Foeller, Christopher Foeller, Ryan Goetter and granddaughter Catie Goetter. Gene was preceded in death by; daughter Pamela Goetter; father Paul A Foeller and mother Clara A Foeller; brother Paul Foeller. Gene was a hard worker. He worked for many years at National Lead until they closed. Then he went Barnes Jewish Hospital where he worked in the maintenance shop doing painting and carpentry. At the same time he would work doing odds jobs for friends and neighbors using his many talents. A visitation for Gene will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service will occur Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, 4900 Ringer Rd., Saint Louis, Missouri 63129. The committal service will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Rd., Affton, Missouri 63123.
