James Frederick Innes

James (Jim) Frederick Innes went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2019 at the age of 78. Jim was born in San Antonio, Texas to Reginald Frederick Innes and Virgie Lee King. He attended Alamo Heights schools. After high school he joined the United States Air Force in October 1959. He served at Fort Polk, Louisiana, Kessler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi and Anderson AFB, Guam. He was discharged at George AFB in Victorville, California. While in the military he learned a lot about electronics. He then spent many years living in California. After leaving the military he worked for Lockheed Martin, an aircraft manufacturing company. He also worked for CBS in Los Angeles, California. In later years he spent most of his time witnessing for Jesus Christ. He lived a very modest life. Jim is survived by his loving and devoted companion, Jennifer Rubio, his son James Keith Innes (wife Ngoc), grandson Daniel Innes; daughter Michelle Innes Collins and granddaughter Rachel; sister, Patricia Weiss, sister Judith Daffis, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald Innes and Virgie Daffis; stepfather, Pete Daffis; brother, John Daffis and niece, Susan Whittington. He will be missed by all who knew him.
