Lydia Ann Pezina

Lydia Ann Pezina, age 68, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Riverside Community Hospital. She was born on July 9th, 1950 in Santa Ana, California to Richard and Inez (Salceda) Esparza. She then met her devoted and loving husband John Michael Pezina. They were married in Holy Family Catholic Church on May 6th 1972, then shared 47 blessed years. Lydia was a graduate of Santa Ana Valley High School in 1968. She then went on to work with First Step Child Care Center in Riverside, California. Sharing her loving, nurturing heart with countless children. Lydia truly loved and lived history by spending countless hours researching and recording her own family story through genealogy. She would always say "You are immortal as long as you have family to remember you." Lydia is preceded in death by both her parents, and her brothers Richard and Ramon Esparza. Left to remember and honor Lydia are her husband John, two children Diane (Luciano) Martinez, Michael (Sheila) Pezina, three sisters Della (David) Alfaro, Linda Salceda, Rachel (Gilbert) Arriaga, brother Victor Esparza, six grandchildren Joseph (Diana) Martinez, Evelyn Martinez, Gabriel Martinez, Vivian Pezina, Alfred Herrera, Jerimiah Herrera and one great-grand child Christopher Daniel Ortiz Talavera and many nieces and one nephew.
