Daniel Yee - Sing Pond

Daniel Yee-Sing Pond of Calgary, AB went to be with the LORD at Smoothstone Lake, SK on June 8, 2019 at the age of 27 years. Daniel was born in Calgary, AB on October 24, 1991. He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Betty Pond, and his sisters, Candace and Esther. Daniel is predeceased by Yuk-Woo and Kit-Ying Pond (grandpa and grandma), Francis Tung (grandfather), John Pond (uncle) and David Suen (uncle). He graduated from Heritage Christian Academy in 2009. Daniel was employed by Glenmore Audi and previously worked at MacCon Security. Daniel loved adventure. He traveled, hiked, explored, fished and used his incredible gift of photography to capture God’s creation in nature. Daniel also loved cars. He enjoyed driving to the Canadian Rockies, northern BC, west coast, southern tip of California, and Saskatchewan. He would willingly help both friends and strangers with their car troubles, anytime of the day or night. Daniel’s second home was C3 (Christian Community Church) Calgary West. He was extremely musically gifted and enjoyed leading worship by playing on his guitar and singing. His passion and his joy for serving his community was phenomenal; he made it his mission to serve and love everyone around him. Many people will miss his gleaming smile, ardent bear hug, and sincere conversations. Daniel is lovingly remembered and greatly missed. Till we meet again, Daniel. We love you very much.
