I'm so sorry to hear about Mrs. Noiseux's passing. I think often of my good fortune having her as my Art teacher throughout high school. I appreciate that she taught Art as a serious subject, and went so far as to include exams in her curriculum. She believed in me, encouraged me and pushed me to consider my creativity a tool that could be sharpened and used throughout my life. And I am happy to say that I do use that tool on a daily basis! I am so grateful for my time with her during those formative and foundational years. She taught me that I could start with a blank page and create something from nothing. That was such a gift! She was demanding, dedicated and passionate. I know this sentiment is shared by some of my other classmates. She is a great example of the impact a great teacher can have on their students!

Mrs. Noiseux’s classroom was my sanctuary at NHS and she inspired me to follow a path in the Arts. After many twists and turns in my life I still using her as my compass for my life path. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family.

I was fortunate enough to have her for five art classes across four years at NHS. I even remember her wheeling the "art cart" into my kindergarten class during my first days at Sparrell Elementary. I am very sad that she has passed, but during my time as a student, she encouraged my art style and ideas whole heartedly. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Deanne's passing and send my condolences to her family. I first met Deanne in the 1990's at The Artists' Circle of the Fuller Museum in Brockton. Sometimes I would get a chance to catch up with her and see her fine artwork at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset. She was always lovely, warm and generous.

I have such fond memories of taking art classes with Mrs. Noiseux for all 4 years during my time at NHS. She cared deeply about her students and was so encouraging as we discovered ourselves as artists. I’ve thought of her often over the years. So many memories of fun times in art class. She was the best!

We first met Deanne about 14 years ago. Over the years we came to know her as a lovely woman, dedicated teacher, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, creative painter and printmaker, generous and compassionate soul, welcoming colleague and friend. Deanne was my saving angel in many ways. Her loving ways, continual kindness and solid friendship has enriched my life . She knew what I needed before I knew it.
Dee has raised a wonderful family and often entertained her beautiful grandchilden with love and joy. I know she is an angel in heaven now but was always an angel on earth. My life will never be the same without her. She will never be forgoten. I was blessed to call her my friend.
