Edward J. Karaway

Edward J. Karaway 72 of Secaucus passed away on Thursday June 27, 2019 at the Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck. Born in Passaic he lived in Secaucus his entire life. Ed was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was a field supervisor for the Secaucus Department of Public Works for 26 years before retiring in 2017. He previously worked for Sylvania for 26 years He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Edna (Cookie) Brunert Karaway; his son Edward P. and his wife Virginia Karaway; his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Steve Lignowski; his grandchildren Drew, Erin, David and Giada. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM at the Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Rd. Secaucus. A funeral mass will held on Monday July 1, 2019 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
