Arthur Gottlieb Wahl January 20, 1939 - July 26, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur Wahl, our treasured Dad, Papa and friend of many. He will be forever missed by his loving family, predeceased by his adored wife of 52 years, Betty, his siblings Margaret and Richard, and survived by his daughters Lisa (Danny), Caree (Bruce), and Marcie (Mark), and his nine beloved grand-children Taylor, Parker, Mackenzie, Madison, Dakota, Mitchell, Wylie, Logan, and Hudson.
Art was a kind, vibrant, loving, and generous soul who dedicated his life to those closest to him, while always giving back to the community through the Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club, Peace Arch Curling Club, and his many years of teaching at Earl Marriott Secondary School.
He could often be found on the golf course, at the fish hatchery, spending time with his family, or travelling the world and sending entertaining emails from afar. He will leave a void in the hearts of his family and friends and also in the White Rock community, his home of 51 years. We invite you to join us in a Celebration of Art’s Life on Tuesday, August 7th at 2:00pm at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 28th Ave Surrey, BC.
Art was a 30 year recipient of a kidney transplant, so in lieu of flowers, we encourage you to register for organ donation at transplant.bc.ca or make a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in Art’s name.
We love you much! xo
