Mary Christine ‘Chris’ Sampson Sydney / Glace Bay Mary Christine “Chris” Sampson, age 84 of Sydney, formerly of Glace Bay passed away on June 11,2019 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Angus and Clara Mc Eachern. Chris was a member of St Joseph’s Parish Cottage Rd Sydney. Surviving are daughter Marie, Sydney; sons Fred “Mugsy” (Marg), Glace Bay, John “Harvey” (Debora), ON, Adam (Ann), Dartmouth, Jerry (Dawn), Dartmouth; sister Leona “Lee”, Albert Bridge; brother Johnny, ON; grandchildren Jerry (Dakota), Fred Jr. “Teddy” (Tiffany) and Marisa “Ma’s Little Nephew” (Josh). Besides her parents, Angus and Clara, she was predeceased by brothers Allan, Alex, Frank, brother in-law Urban McNeil and sister in-law Jessie McEachern. As per Mom’s request, there will be no visitation. A family service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center or a charity of one’s choice.
