Anna Ruth Mountain

Mrs. Anna Ruth Burke Mountain age 90 was born February 7, 1929 and passed away May 19, 2019 at Claiborne County Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Otie Frank Mountain. She previously worked at Big Four Grocery Store and the Signal Knitting Mills. Ruth was a loving wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Axie Burke, Husband Otie Frank Mountain, Itha Bernice Mountain Qualls, Joanna Mountain Knowles and grandson Larry Knowles. She is survived by her brother: Everett Curt Burke of Finley, Ohio Grandchildren: James Saylor, Sue Qualls, Libby Wilder, Patty Shelby, Gwen Bono, Linda Kilgore, Donna Schroeder, David Knowles, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. You can come by the funeral home after 12 Noon to view Ruth and family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday May 22, 2019 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN and funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Saylor officiating. Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday May 23, 2019 in the Seals Chapel Cemetery. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
