Mrs. Virgie S. Reynolds, 96, went peacefully to be with her Lord Friday, April 26, 2019 surrounded by her family at her residence.
Virgie was born in Smyth County, VA November 9, 1922, a daughter of the late Edward C. Suit and Ollie Rosenbaum Suit. She was a member of Full Gospel Independent Church and was the former church secretary. Virgie was always busy with her garden and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Sparky" Reynolds. Virgie was a very special lady!
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Myers and husband Eddie and Diana Hewett and husband Ronald; two sons, William Reynolds and wife Edith and Bennie Reynolds; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Dealy Leonard and husband Ronald; a brother, Robert Suit.
A Celebration of Virgie's life will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019, 11:00 am at the Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Herman Cress. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zack Jones, Michael Hooker, Brandon Byerly, Lane Byerly, Sebastian Coleman and Joshua Hewett.
