Preston Leon Powell

Preston Leon Powell, age 22, passed peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2019, in Commerce City, CO. Preston was born on June 11, 1997, in Denver, CO, to parents Jennifer B. Apjoke and Ikeco L. Powell. Preston was a truly charismatic individual, touching the lives of every person he came in contact with. Regarded by his family and friends as a true Super Hero, Preston always found a way to make sure everyone's hearts were filled with laughter. As a true outdoorsman at heart, Preston took every opportunity he could to be one with nature; fishing, hiking, and hunting were among his favorite activities. His love of the outdoors lead him to pursue his degree in order to become a Forest Ranger for Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Preston is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Ikeco; his sister, Emeilia; his maternal grandparents, John Apjoke, and Harold and Cheryl Berg; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved cat Bear. Remembrance services will take place at the Northside Baptist Church in Northglenn, CO on September 12, 2019, 2:00 p.m. All are invited.
