Rocco "Luigi" Gallo

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 1st, 2019 In Toronto, Ontario. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 47 years, Giuseppina as well as his parents Paolo & Lucia, brother Mario, and sister Antonietta. Luigi is survived by his loving sons Paolo (Carole), Saverio, and Gino (Cristina) and his grandchildren Isabella and Elysia. He will be deeply missed by his many relatives, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends both here in Canada, and internationally. Luigi spent many years in Switzerland before making the move to Toronto, Canada. He shared many fond memories of his time there and it’s a place he held close to his heart. He loved his walks around the neighborhood parks, playing cards, and his independence. Above all else, he loved his family and cherished his friendships deeply. Friends and family will be called to the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME (1141 St. Clair Ave W., Toronto, ON. One block east of Dufferin St.) on Friday, January 4th, 2019 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Victory Parish (117 Guestville Ave, Toronto, ON) on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 9:30 am. Entombment at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave W.,) to follow.
