Teresa Maria Bellissimo

It is with a heavy heart that we let family and friends know, Teresa Maria Bellissimo (nee Ierullo) born on July 27, 1946 in Vallelonga, Vibo Valentia, Italy passed away on July 6, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Teresa passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 72 years. She is beloved wife of Antonio for 44 years. She is the loving Mother of Vincenzo (Laura) and Francesco (Leandra). Cherished Nonna Teresa of Gennaro, Mauro, Luca, Corrado, Alessia, Paolo and Daniele. Beloved sister of Rosa, Sylvia, Antonio (Shelley) and loving sister-in-law of Maria Bellissimo, Teresa Mandarano (Domenico) and Maria Cali. She is predeceased by her parents: Vittoria and Francesco Ierullo, by her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Concetta & Vincenzo Bellissimo and by her brother-in-laws Bruno and Leonardo. Teresa will be loved, remembered and missed forever by her immediate family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday, July 10th from 6-9pm and on Thursday, July 11th from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Memory of Teresa Bellissimo would be appreciated by the family.
