LaDonna Marie Hayes

LaDonna Marie (Kamp) Hayes went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 2, 2019 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Through the last difficult week of her life, her desire was to glorify God; the love of the Lord truly shined through her. LaDonna passed away peacefully with her family by her side and with the Lord’s presence truly felt by all. She is now without pain and suffering and is worshipping her Lord face to face. LaDonna was born on July 26, 1964 in Citrus Heights, CA and had currently resided in Olympia, WA. She graduated from Anacortes High School in Anacortes, WA in 1982. She met her husband, Terry Hayes, July 15, 1984 and they were married on July 13, 1985. LaDonna loved spending time with her family and especially with her four grandsons. She would go above and beyond any expectations for a wife, mother, and grandmother. She also loved gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, canning, homesteading, hiking and just being outdoors. She was a member of Littlerock Community Fellowship in Olympia, WA for the last 14 years. Her most recent employment was at Longnecker Accounting in Lacey, WA. She really enjoyed her career and the people she was able to work with. LaDonna is survived by her husband of 34 years, Terry, daughters Caitlin Schwartz (husband Stephen and sons Colton, Silas and Anson) of Olympia,WA and Kylie Bastic (husband Andrew and son Thomas) of Holly Springs, NC. The family wants to thank their family and their church family for the prayers and support through this time. We would also like to thank the staff at St.Peters Hospital for their dedicated care, love, sympathy and support in her last days.
