Irene R. Zustra

Irene R. Zustra 98, of Weehawken, passed away on Wednesday 7/31/2019. She was born in West New York and lived for most of her life in Weehawken. Irene was a Secretary for Hertz Corp. in Parsippany for over 15 years retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Weehawken Needle and Craft Club, Senior Citizens club and volunteered at Christ Hospital. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Alex Zustra. She was the devoted mother of Eileen Zustra and Michael Zustra and wife Kay. She was the dear sister of Doris Rey and the late Edna Syvarth as well as the loving grandmother of Alex, John and Jackie Zustra. The funeral will be on Monday 8/5/19 at 9am from the Leber Funeral Home then to St. Lawrence Church where at 10am a mass will be offered. The interment will follow at Madonna Cemetery. The visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 7pm.
