Patricia "Trish" Anne Whelan

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mama, Trish Tenning. Trish passed away very peacefully on June 9, 2018 with her family by her side, after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Mom fought so hard for the love she had for her family. She is survived by her husband, the love of her life for the past 23 years, Grant Tenning, her cherished children Cheri and Dan and her adored grandsons Ben and Landon. She leaves behind her sister Wendy, brothers Ed (Debbie), Rob (Patricia) and Larry, sister-in-law Lesa (Steve), Debbie (Leonard), brother-in-law Steve (Valerie), Bill (Laura), nieces Stephanie and Lynsay as well as many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Pat and Joy Whelan. Words cannot begin to describe how deeply Trish will be missed by all her family and many many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services (4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada.
