Rona E Rogovin

August 5, 1942 - September 14, 2019 Rona Rogovin, 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Boynton Beach, FL on September 14, 2019. She was born in East Orange, NJ and was the daughter of the late Hyacinth and George Coganow. A 1960 Zanesville High School graduate she then attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in Education. She worked as a special education teacher at Mayfield High School in Mayfield Heights, OH. Rona resided in Canton, Ohio for 35 years before moving to Florida. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jon; daughter and son-in law, Melissa and Scott Berman; and three grandchildren, Alexis, Nicole, and Jack. Rona was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. She will be remembered for her perseverance, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Services will be held Wednesday, September 18 at noon at Star of David of the Palm Beaches 9321 Memorial Park Road West Palm Beach, FL 33412. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.
