Obituary of Borge Bang Jensen
Borge Bang Jensen was born on March 11, 1942 in Hardy, Saskatchewan to Andy and Annie Jensen. He attended school at Hardy, Saskatchewan until grade 8, at which time he began working with Juels Haugen in his repair garage in Bengough. Borge moved to New Westminster, B.C. and worked for a company building greenhouses. Then he returned to Bengough and bought the garage from Juels Haugen. Borge kept the garage for a few years and then worked on his own doing mobile welding and automotive repair. He went up north to Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories for he worked seismic for a few winters for Hank Holt. Borge came back to Bengough and worked around doing welding and automotive repair once again. Then he worked seismic for Calvin Jensen for a while. After that Borge went to work for Land R Asphalt before going to work for Doug Johnson at Kalium. After this he moved to Grande Prairie and worked for Doug Jensen welding before retiring and returning home to Bengough. Borge was predeceased by his parents, Andy and Annie Jensen. Borge will be lovingly remembered by his son, Wade (Charlene) Jensen of Bengough, SK and grandson, Matt Jensen of Regina, SK; daughter, Danette Jensen of Bengough, SK and grandchildren, Logan Reeves of Lampman, SK and Jordan Reeves of Ceylon, SK; daughter, JanaLee (Rob) Gillies of Bengough, SK and grandson, Kirk Gillies; great grandchildren, Keith and Marlee Gillies of Bengough, SK; granddaughters, Brittany Gillies of Regina, SK and Amy Gillies of Bengough, SK; brothers and sisters: Harry (Elaine) Jensen of Weyburn, SK; Delbert (Doreen) Jensen of Weyburn, SK; Linda Brooks of Bienfait, SK; Deanna (Wayne) Mabee of Weyburn, SK; Geret (Debbie) Jensen of Ceylon, SK; Mavis (Andre) Hollebeke of Weyburn, SK as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The Memorial Service was held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan and Interment will take place in Ceylon Cemetery, Ceylon, Saskatchewan at a later date. Donations in memory of Borge may be made to STARS Air Ambulance at 2640 Airport Road, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4W 1A3.
