Daphne Veronica Clarke

Mrs. Daphne Veronica Clarke of Windsor, Ontario passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 86. Mrs. Clarke was the founder of Windsor Women Working With Immigrant Women (W5) and Past President and Board Member of Women's Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor (WEST) Inc. Predeceased by her husband John. Mrs. Clarke is survived by her two sons Errol and Roy and her grandson Eric. She also leaves behind her sisters and brothers: Elfreda, Lena, Carmen, Rene and Wilfred as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Friday from 6-9 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Mrs. Clarke's Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. (Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m.) at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 85 Park Street East, Windsor, officiated by Fr. Nichola Mauro Iko. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Windsor. If desired, memorial donations made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
