Gerald Eugene Peltier

87 years. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at WRH Ouellette Campus. Beloved husband for 65 years of Shirley (nee Hughes). Great loving father to Jerry Jr. (Marianne), Gary (Kelly) and Michael (Deanna). Wonderful & cherished Papa to Adam (Kelly), Jessica (Derek), Ryan (Ashley), Danielle, Ryan Byrd & Emily Byrd. Great grandfather of Zoe, Quinn & Carter. Gerald will be sadly missed by his sisters Marlene & Delores and his brother Ron. Predeceased by his brother Richard and sister Didi. Gerald was an employee of Chrysler for over 42 years and a member of Unifor #444. He enjoyed his retirement spending time fishing with his sons and being with family. A very grateful thanks to Dad’s team of nurses and doctors on 5 North, who listened to his wishes. We are forever in your debt for the respect you provided our family. In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, as he casts off his fishing reel to Heaven, no visitation or funeral service will be held. We love you and will cherish all the special memories.
