James Edward Gates

Gates, James Edward February 5, 1947- December 21, 2018 Survived by his wife Linda Gates (nee Waffle) son Robert Gates and daughters Tracey Doak (Kevin), and Melissa Bailey (Earl). Grandfather to Earl, Cody and Quentin. He is also survived by his brother David Gates (Susan). James will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. James was a proud U.S Army Veteran that served in Vietnam. He worked at Bendex Brakes and later retired from the Children’s Rehabilitation Centre (now the John McGivney Centre). Memorial visiting will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10 a.m. until time of service 11a.m. at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E. Windsor, ON).
