Thomas Edgar Bates

75 years. Passed away, surrounded by his family on April 30, 2019. Beloved spouse to Donna Filiault. Loving father of Marie (Gord) Wilder, Timothy (Debbie) Bates, Tammy (Garry) Metcalfe and the late Tom Bates Jr. (2012). Dear step father of Jody Filiault (Leigh-Ann), Jeff Filiault (Darlene) and Deanna Bertrand (Jessie). Survived by 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother to Alice (the late Ron), Crumb, Pearl Rusling, Doug (Bev) Hyland and the late Jennie Bates. Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Jennie Bates. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Thomas was retired from Chrysler Canada and is a member of Unifor Local 444. A special thank you to all involved with the care and compassion provided to Tom.
