Albert (Bert) Gamache

Forever Loved With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Bert Gamache on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at the age of 76 years after battling many medical problems for the past 4 years. Bert is survived by Irene, his loving wife of 57 years. His daughter Collette (Karl), grandson Adam (Ashley) and granddaughter Paige (Nic); also his brother Harvey (Marie) and sisters Anita (Romeo), Annette and Dolly (Dan), as well as Marie, Georgie, Lina, Aurel and Claude (Florence). Bert was predeceased by his son Gerry and his brother Len. Bert loved all sports and played most of them although golf was his big love. He worked for Arnold Bros. Transport, Wilson Auto Electric and Harvest Fuel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The family would like to thank the staff at Poseidon Personal Care Home for their care and support. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home; Hwy 1 East at Navin Road on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 7 p.m.
