Antonino Brambilla

On July 28, 2019 Antonino “Tony” Brambilla passed away peacefully in Russell, MB. He is survived by his three children Teresa (Calvin), Ermanno, Tony and his brother Vincenzo. He will be remembered by his grandchildren: Gina (Mike), Carla, Anna, Ben, his great granddaughters Emma, Isabelle, Ally, and the mother of his children Concetta. Tony was predeceased by his mother and father, his sister Zina, and brothers Nicola, Giuseppe, and Agostino. Tony immigrated from Sicily to Canada at 30 years of age with his wife and two year old daughter in June 1961. Tony worked at Burns Meats for 28 years until his retirement. He was known for his hard work ethic; he was always ready and willing to help out others. Tony was a jack of all trades and eagerly offered ideas and plans. Tony was an avid gardener and took pleasure in sharing his variety of produce with others. During the last four years he resided with his daughter in Foxwarren, MB, where he enjoyed observing the various stages of seeding to harvest. In recent years he cherished spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and their pets. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg.
