Jason Daniel Kudlik It is with deep sorrow, we announce the very sudden passing of Jason Daniel Kudlik aged 36 years from Winnipeg Manitoba on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Health Sciences Centre. Jason was the most devoted husband, caring and lovable father and considered the best son a father could have. Jason is survived by his wife of 18 years Pamela, two young children; Son Lukas Daniel, and Daughter Ellie Francis, Father Kurt Kudlik (Edie), Sisters Belinda and Bridgitte (Tyler), Mother-in-Law Marilyn Coumont, Sister-in-Law Diane Trumbla (Eric); along with three nieces; Mila, Caitlin and Callie and 4 Nephews Kai, Quinton, James and Brayden as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, family and friends. Jason was pre-deceased by his Mother Angele Doyle and Father-in-Law Gordon Coumont, Grandparents John and Mary Doyle and John and Luise Kudlik. Jason was born on January 15, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba and spent his childhood in St. Andrews and Selkirk Manitoba. While growing up, Jason loved playing board games with his family. This continued throughout his life. He always tried to find people to play his confusing game of Axis and Allies or other war related strategy games that he loved and would take several hours to play. He met the love of his life Pamela in high school and they were inseparable ever since. After high school and graduating college, he started his career at the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development (CAHRD) where he met many life long friends. In 2012, Jason welcomed his first child Lukas Daniel. Lukas was his pride and joy. He was always teaching him how to shoot a puck top shelf and how to deke with his stick. They loved playing hockey together. Daughter Ellie Francis was born in 2017. He was overjoyed with her arrival and she had him wrapped around her little finger the moment she came home. Jason was a big fan of hockey and football. He always enjoyed turning on the T.V and watching his favourite team the Boston Bruins until the Jets came back to Winnipeg. He now had his two favourite teams to cheer for again. He was an NFL fan and his favourite team was the Chicago Bears. His goal was to see his favourite team play at Soldier Field in Chicago with his family; unfortunately, he did not get that opportunity. Jason’s favourite thing in life was spending time with his family watching movies and playing video games with Lukas. He was a goofball around his kids always making them laugh and be silly with him. His motivation made them feel like they could do anything. He loved taking everyone on outings and family vacations. Seeing his kids light up with excitement when he would buy them a toy or take them to the park. He spoiled his children with love and attention. He loved watching Lukas play Hockey and all the other sports he was in. Jason coached Lukas in his first year of T-Ball and enjoyed every minute of it. Even though Jason’s life was cut too short, we cherished the time we had with him. He was dedicated to his wife and children in every way possible. His family came first before anything else. He will be missed dearly by everyone who got a chance to meet him. He touched so many people in his short life. Thank you to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services, the Doctors, nurses and staff at both the seven Oaks General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for all your services and wonderful care to Jason and his family. Golden Memories They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you. A million times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly. In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, no one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, I’d walk the path to heaven and bring you back again. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
