Obituary of Martin Paul Robak
It is with great sadness we announce the tragic passing of our beloved Martin Paul Robak Jr of Selkirk Manitoba Born August 10th 1968 - November 15th 2018 Marty will be deeply missed by his; Father Martin Robak (Carroll Thickson) ,Mother Jacci Kakaygeesick (Robert Kakaygeesick), Sister Kimberly Robak Radke (Glen Grant) Brother Danny Robak, Son Keoni Martin William Robak & Yvonne Starr (Mother of Son), Daughters Keely Madison Robak and Azja, Jacklyn Robak & Krista D. Brown (Mother of Daughters), Stepdaughters Rebecca, Carissa Brown, Lindsay Alexis Gorrell-Brown Step-Granddaughters: Izabella, Abigail & Emilia Halcrow, Savannah, Nevaeh & Caillie Larose Step-Sisters: Sherrie, Pheonixx & Millie Kakaygeesick Ashley Crosby, Kara, Elisa Thickson, Step-Brothers Kyle Thickson & Sheldon Starr Kakaygeesick, Nieces and Nephews, Macayla Radke, Kingston, Keira, Shellie-Marie & Savanah Grant Thomas, Nue & Shawna Kakaygeesick. Nixx, Daisy, Evan, Ethan & Breanne Thickson. Jory, Dylan & Tristan Kirton And his sweet Dog Ginger Predeceased by, Gido Paul Robak of East Selkirk Manitoba. Baba Lillian Robak of Selkirk Manitoba Uncle Jerry (JR) Robak of Winnipeg, Auntie Dora Robak of Lockport, Auntie Lorraine from Vancouver BC, Grandma Ethel Casey of Kamloops BC, Grandfather John Johnston BC. Marty was an adventurer at heart. As a young child he kept everyone on their toes, he was silly and loved to make people laugh, a natural comedian. Marty’s love for sports as a young boy included football, hockey, archery and dirt biking. His love for the outdoors was great. Marty even pursued the same work as his father as a commercial fisherman for a short time. He was super handy with renovations. Marty loved mechanics, this is a natural talent passed down to him from his Father and Grandfather Marty had his class 5 engineering from Red River College. He worked for a Shaw Cable Company. Recently United Chemicals Marty had a rare sense of humor, full of wit. He had a flare for great story telling and good jokes. He didn’t do anything small-time; his motto would be “Go Big or Go Home”. Family functions were always important; he always bought so many extra desserts, especially pies. He made everyone always feel welcome. He’d give you his shirt off his back. Marty had a sweet giving heart. Marty’s smile was a mile long. He also stood strong with his values and beliefs. Marty loved to cook and was good at it. Marty was a Coffee Drinker and he liked it Strong! He had a strong bond with his parents whom he adored. He was a loving father, a loyal brother, a loyal son. His love for his children is immeasurable. They are the apple of his eye, his most precious jewels. Marty’s love for music was deep, especially for guitar. Always wanted to play you something he had learned. He was so proud of his son that they shared a passion for the guitar. His Daughters are his little princesses. He felt like the king of the world because of his children.
