Michael Zachozy

Forever Remembered It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael, a loving father and husband. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his son Gordon, and his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours. He is predeceased by his wife Teenie, his parents George and Ann Zachozy (Proceviat), his brothers Nick and John, nieces Norma and Margaret, and nephew Harry. Michael was born on the Zachozy farm in 1922 in Whitemouth, Manitoba. He met his love Teenie, and were married on September 30, 1950. They were married for 65 years. He farmed unti l1954, left for Thunder Bay, Ontario, and then settled in Winnipeg. Michael was employed by Commonwealth, Provincial Engineering at Fort White, then Acklands, Elswood, Sauder, then Hardwoods until he retired in 1984. Funeral Service will be celebrated 10:00 a.m.on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road. Viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
