Peter Jenkins Baynton

Died peacefully after several weeks illness. Peter is survived and will be deeply missed by his son Tony, daughter in law Debra and close friends Josephine Nickle, Jill Patrick, Fran Hodges and Frank and Lois Richl. Peter was born in London, England and after serving in the RAF during World War 2, he immigrated to Canada in 1952. He settled in Winnipeg and lived there until his death. He worked with the Manitoba Telephone System from 1957 until his retirement in 1986. During his time at MTS he started as a junior salesman in business equipment sales and retired as Sales Manager. Peter was predeceased by his first wife Kathleen (nee Whitaker) and his second wife June (nee Hodges). A private interment will be held. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society.
