Angelo James Diesu, 90 of Clermont, FL passed away on May 1, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 26, 1929. Angelo served his country faithfully in the United States Army and retired after 23 years of service. After retiring from the military, Angelo, along with his wife Marilyn, went into business for themselves by opening a craft store. This grew from 1 store into 4 stores over a 23 year period. Angelo was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was Catholic by his faith. Angelo was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marilyn in 2009. He is survived by his daughters: Laura Keller and husband Joel; Diana Carbone and husband Michael; his brother, Michael Diesu; his grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Matthew and Danielle and by his 8 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 6 from 6 – 8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. Interment with military honors will be Tuesday, May 7 at 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL where he will be laid to rest alongside of his beloved Marilyn.
