Debra Florence Redwood

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Kokum, Mother, Auntie, Sister and friend Debra (Debbie or Granny) Florence Redwood. Debra passed away on July 21st 2019, and will be greeted on the other side by her father Harry Redwood, mother Edith Redwood (nee Ochapowace), step-father Raymond Acoose and her siblings, Percy, Margaret Ann, Walter Grant, Albert Martin (Todda), Gordon Dean and Errol Vance. Debra is survived by her brothers, Harry (Howie) Redwood, Jarvais Redwood, Jeffrey Redwood, Blair Pelletier and Lenvan Ochapowace, along with her daughter Lisa Redwood (Cheyla-Raye and Greggory), her son Jordan Redwood and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. A wake will be held in the Cowessess First Nation Band Hall starting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019. Funeral Service (burial) will take place in the Cowessess First Nation Band Hall with burial to follow at the Redwood Homestead at 11:00 a.m. on July 25, 2019. Her smile will be missed by all of us.
