Edna Eileen Rothenburger
August 8, 1935 – July 23, 2019

Eileen Rothenburger (nee Cope) was predeceased by her husband Fred in 2001, her parents Ted and Alice Cope, a sister Dodie and her husband Al Hammond, a brother in law and sister in law Andy and Erna Robinson; a sister in law Alma Cope.
Eileen is survived by a sister Muriel Belon (deceased husband Bill) a brother Tom (Tillie) Cope, brother Doug (predeceased wife Alma) Cope, sister Barb (Bob) Petrie; Jim and Bernice Edgar, Jim and Ester Exelby, Ken and Sharon Rothenburger; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eileen worked for a short while at the Broadview Union Hospital and later at the Lampman Hospital. She married Fred in 1956 after marriage she became a telephone operator in Broadview until the local telephone system became obsolete with the advent of the provincial Sasktel system. Eileen then became a postal worker in the Broadview Post Office where she worked for twenty two years. Eileen devoted many years as a community volunteer coordinator for the transit bus.
There will be a family coordinated graveside service of cremated remains in the Broadview Cemetery with Pastor Larry Hedman officiating. A reception for friends and family will be held in the Broadview Community Hall on Saturday, August 17th commencing at 2:00 p.m.
