Shirley Jeanne Kovach

On Friday, September 27, 2019 Shirley Kovach, beloved wife of Joe Kovach, Kipling, and late of Fillmore, SK died at the age of 84 years. The funeral service will be held in the Kipling United Church on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Hyun Heo officiating. Interment in Kipling Cemetery at a later date. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Quintis and Grace Sundstrom and her sisters in law Margaret Sundstrom, Ann Sundstrom and Dolores Kaul. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty four years, Joe Kovach; children Nancy (Richard Toppings), Sharon Ackles, Susan (Dan Hengen), David (Dorothy) and Rick (Heather); sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; her brothers Glenn Sundstrom and Ray (Sandy) Sundstrom. Her family wishes to acknowledge, with deep appreciation, the staff at Fillmore Health Centre for their loving care during her stay there; the doctors and staff at Weyburn General Hospital, STARS Ambulance, Dr. Gerbrands and staff in Emergency at the Regina General Hospital.
