Sandra A. Mikelic

Sandra A. Mikelic of Port Orange Florida, formerly of Yonkers, NY passed away on May 12, 2019 at age 71. She was born in Yonkers on November 6, 1947 to James and Helen Kuzemchak Wright. Sandra graduated from Hasting High School and worked as a Nurse Technician at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers for more than thirty years. She was predeceased by her husband Melko Mikelic who died in 1991, also by her son Darren in 2006. Sandra is survived by her son Michael and his fiancé Joy, 2 sisters Patricia Barraco and Maryellen Forrest, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday 9:30am. Interment will follow at Mt.
