Her interests included family, painting and cross-stitching. She was an avid supporter of many charities.
She retired from the Arkansas Highway Department where she worked as a draftsman for 43 years.
Mrs. Lydia Kathryn Brasel is survived by her daughter Sherry Skorupski, her granddaughter Sarah Hightower and niece Karen Rambin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank S. Gardner, mother, Novella Cook, her sister Marilyn Crookham and niece, Patricia Barbo.
A graveside service by family and friends will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 25th at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Due to the Covid situation, services are limited to no more than 50 guests, masks must be warn, and social distancing observed.
