Michael Quintanilla

Michael “Q” Quintanilla entered the Promise Land on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Premont, Texas at the age of 47. He was born on October 29, 1973 to Ovidio Ozuna and Sarita Quintanilla Gutierrez in Falfurrias Texas. Michael was a jokester who loved a good laugh and was always ready to have a good time. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his favorite term of endearment to call those he cared for was “crackhead” or “hood-rat”. He always said, “If I go before you, remember me…goodbye and love y’all.”

As he entered the gates of Heaven, he was reunited with his parents; grandmother, Celestina Quintanilla and brother, Ovidio Ozuna.

He is survived by his two sons, Marc Angel Villarreal and Izaac Quintanilla both of Houston, Texas; sisters, Cindy Ledesma of Premont; Merlinda (Andrew Flores) Quintanilla of Falfurrias, Rachel (Johnny Espinosa) Quintanilla of Midland, Texas and Maria Quintanilla of Houston; step-sister, Dolores Cantu of Houston; nieces and nephews, Victor Ledesma, Samantha Suarez, Makayla Suarez, Amanda De La Cerda, Amber De La Cerda and Erica De La Cerda, Desiree Gomez, Clarissa Gomez, Marisol Gomez and Jose Gomez and Angel Quintanilla and many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Due to the current ongoing Covid-19 pandemic services are limited to 50 attendees. A Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.
