Merry Ann Harshey

Merry is survived by her Husband, Michael E. Harshey of Eaton Rapids, MI., her son, Randall John (Erica) Marsden of National City, CA., her daughter Rachel K. (Roy) Mc Clain of St. Johns, MI., her brother – Joel Brown, and her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father - Milton Brown, her mother - Neva Brown, her sisters – Judy Brown and Sharon Johnson, and brothers – Gregory and Colin Brown.

Merry was born on October 15, 1948, in Lansing, MI to parents – Milton and Neva Brown. While still in High School, she started Nursing at age 16 and worked as a Nurse for more than 40 years.

She married Michael Harshey in 1988, and he has been the great love of her life. She was a dedicated family woman, and a loving mother and wife.

Merry was an avid and gifted gardener who loved nature and all creatures. She was a woman of strong faith. She was an artist, and loved reading, music, and all forms of creative expression. She loved people in a most genuine way, appreciating everything about them.

Her family and friends will always remember her warm smile, love of nature, wonderful humor, the depth of her compassion and emotion, and always knowing that she loved them dearly.

A memorial visitation for Merry will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m.
