Mom, its been a year since we lost you. It is still tuff to deal with not having you around to make us laugh , hug, and hold.  We sure miss you mom and love you very much. We will never forget you the best mom in the world. Your son jeff.

1 yr ago today was the worst day of my life. Living without you is very difficult.  I talk to you daily reminding you how wonderful of a Mom and best friend you were. I feel you close by and that brings me comfort. Until we meet again Momma, i will always love you from here. 

I miss you so much. Missing you is not something I will ever “get over” or recover from.

Hey mom. We just had our first Thanksgiving without you and today is your birthday.  Needless to say it was tough without you there.  We got through it but we missed you so much. You was always our source of happiness every day but especially on holidays. You was so loving and caring and a bundle of laughs. Me Belinda and Deborah will keep it going and we will always dedicate each holiday to you and drink a margarita for you in honor for you. I know you would want us to be happy and be sad but we kids are very close and we will stay that way. You and dad are together again and that im happy yall are. Me Belinda and Deborah will be back with you when God calls us home. You are the greatest mom . You and dad made us good people in life and we will always be. Holly loves you mom and misses you. You and dad have a dance for us. We love you mom. 

Hey Momma, been one month today you went to be with your parents, sister and Dad. Still so very hard without you here making me smile with your happy smiles, hugs, and silliness. 
The house seems so empty now. I don't question it because I know our Lord only does what he needs to do but, I sure don't like it.
Found some younger pictures of you I don't think I have ever seen. That put a giant smile on my face. Also found some letters you wrote to Dad while he was out of town with work in 1968. I am so glad you kept small things like that because it sure made me happy seeing them. 
I love you so very much and I always will.  I will never stop loving you and I will never stop missing you and Dad.

Sadly, Paulie Simper is there now too so look for him.


My tears keep coming and I can’t seem to stop them. It is so hard here at home without you.  I miss my best friend, my comedic partner, my Mom. 
I reassured you I would be ok so I will honor that soon as i can. 
I know how much you missed Dad and your parents and i know you are with them and that brings some comfort.  

I will love and honor you for the rest of my days here. I have so many memories of my forever beautiful Mom.  I will speak to you and of you often.  You truly were a blessing from God.  Thank you for being my Mom.

Mom, you was such a perfect mom, wife, sister grandmother, and friend. Mom was always a serious mom until us kids grew up. Then this very silly fun loving side came out of you that left me Deborah and Belinda scratching our heads wondering who this new mom was. You was simply perfect. I'm blessed to have called you my mom. If everyone in this world was like you this world would be a fun loving peaceful world. I still struggle with you being gone but I will get better knowing your walking with God dad and your sister and parents. Your at peace now and your memories gives us children something to share and talk about forever until we all join you and dad. You live in my heart and I will carry that with me forever. I'm very sorry for your loss . Your mother lived a full life .Very lovely lady I don't think she ever did anything wrong. She alway love everyone she was around.  She will be missed here on world.The little time  I was around  her.she was one special lady that ever lived on this earth.  I'm very sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Rose Manning.

Mom loved seeing people in cowboy hats and every time she saw my mowing hat, she put it on her head. I soooo miss your silliness Mom. The days are very hard right now but stop worrying. Because of you, we have your will and desire and we will eventually be ok. 
I love you forever. 

Rose, I've only known you a short while, not long enough . I wish I had more time with you but the time I had was so nice.  You was so sweet and funny, and your kids are very kind which shows that you was a great mom. I'm proud to become part of your family and it will be my honor to become your daughter in law. Your smile was infectious  and your joy radiated from you. You will be missed this world will not be the same without you.  I love you rose heaven has gained what the world has lost. Rose was the sweetest person you wanted to know. Rose, Bonnie Shanks and I would sit on Bonnie's deck every morning and visit for a couple of hours. I know she's at peace now, singing and dancing!! My deepest sympathy to all her family. 

It was such a pleasure to meet and get to know you Rose many years ago. You were always happiest when you were singing or dancing.  You walked this earth with grace and poise. I will miss you my friend. Penny and family.

Grandma Rose 🌹 I know your listening up there in Heaven and watching over all of us. I wanted to tell you How much I love you and how wonderful of a Grandma you were and always will be. You were the sweetest and kindest soul. I have so many memories to cherish of you Holidays spent with you in Moulton were some of my favorite times, was always the times I looked forward to each year. I loved every minute in life I got to spend with you. You were such an amazing Grandma. Losing you has been very hard.  I wish I would have got to spend more time with you these last few years. This is so hard. Here recently the last time I talked to you, you told I love you so much in that sweet voice of yours made my day and I will cherish that forever along with all the other memories. I love you Grandma and I hope your resting peacefully. I know papa has waited along time for you and now your with him in Heaven. If only I had one more chance to see both of you and I'm sure I will one day. Rest in peace Grandma Rose.

Just to say I will miss you would be a would not do justice to just what a wonderful person and mother you was. Not just because your my mother but because how lucky anyone would be to have you. Thats a fact. You truly was the best mother. Your smile your kindness and your heart was second to no one. You shaped us kids into the people we became as adults. Every day you was first up and the last to go to bed. Mom you fit the mold as what a mother truly is. I'm devastated your gone but now your passing everything that is beautiful about you to everyone in heaven.  You was simply the best. No one comes close to you. She is survived by her 3 children, Deborah O’Brien of Humble, Jeffrey Manning of Houston, and Belinda Manning of Trinity. Her grandchildren Kristy Jones and Haley Manning. Her great-grandson Taylor Hansen and her niece Valerie Singleton along with many other family members.
Rose is preceded in death by her Husband Joseph (Jay) Manning, her parents Albert and Alice Pilat, and her sister Gloria Sledge.
