

Durand "Randy" Clark Yano March 30, 1959 - January 5th, 2018 Resident of Foster City Beloved husband of Debra Lea Yano, devoted father of Alicia Renae Ward and treasured father-in-law of Mike Ward, cherished grandfather of Hailey and Christopher Ward, loving son of Alice Brattmiller, caring son-in-law of Margaret Jones, and brother Brad Yano. He is preceded in death by cherished brother Mark Yano, and dearest father George Yano. Randy touched many lives with his gentle, caring, loving belief in human value. Randy worked for 10 years as an electrical engineer, before following his hearts passion of giving to the San Mateo County Community as a clinical social worker. He strongly believed in the value of each human being. He demonstrated through remarkable compassion at StarVista's Women's Enrichment Center which he by followed strong leadership of the Archway program. His empathy and understanding by going above and beyond demonstrated his belief in each individuals potential to overcome multiple life challenges. He enjoyed music, concerts, and visiting the ocean with his wife Debbie, trips to Houston to visit his daughter, son-in-law, and beloved Grandchildren, and his adventures with many friends. Friends and family are invited to attend memorial a service, on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the Central Peninsula Church on 1005 Shell Blvd, Foster City. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to StarVista, The Archway Program, 610 Elm Street Suite 212, San Carlos, CA 94070, in memory of Randy Yano.
