Born November 25, 1946 in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth W. Getz and Jane L. Brown (Getz).
Kenneth served in the US Marine Corp. and received an honorable medical discharge.
He spent many years in Lancaster as one of the most popular bartenders at many of the top establishments in Lancaster, most notably was “Luckees Elbow Room.” Later in life Kenneth worked at RR Donnelly in Lancaster.
Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time both hunting and fishing with his buddies.
He is survived by a brother, Gary Getz of Charlotte, NC. Also, his ex-wife Michelle, of Lancaster, PA., a stepson and a stepdaughter, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Getz, and a sister Anita Blessing (Getz).
