Shirley J. Orr

Shirley Jene Orr was born to Herbert Clifford and Mary Cameron Saltz on August 31, 1932, in North Hollywood, California. She was raised in Colton, California, and graduated 1st class of Colton High School.

On July 31, 1951, she married the love of her life, Jack L. Orr. For 55 years she loved and cared for her husband and formed a family. From this union of love, four children were born; one son: Craig Alan Orr, and three daughters: Jenee Lynn Marron, and Tina Luci Orr & Jolene Mary Barron. On June 26, 2007, Jack went on to be with the Lord and Shirley remained in the family home in Bloomington, Ca., eventually moving to Apple Valley, Ca., to be closer to her Daughter Jolene & Son in Law Arturo and her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Shirley was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to knit, crochet, and craft. Most of all she loved to smile and had an amazing gift for gab. She loved to talk to people and make them laugh. Her spirit was beautiful, and her smile was contagious. She could light up the room whenever she was in your presence and dispersed seeds of wisdom every time that she had an opportunity.

On May 31, 2021, the Lord saw fit and raised his daughter to rest in His heavenly love. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her son Craig Alan Orr, her daughters: Jenee Lynn Marron, Tina Luci Orr and Jolene Mary Barron; Her grandchildren: Desiree Marie Elkins, Corrina Goode Lavern, Zachary Adam Pickard, Joshtin Michael Anthony Booth, Rachel Ann Marron, Cori Janelle Adrianna Booth, and Ryan James Clifford Booth; Her great grandchildren: Michael Alexander Elkins, Andrew David Elkins, Lillianna Rose Hernandez, Brooklynn Bri’ann Lavern, Aubree Martiana Marie Buggs, Cameron James Booth, Joshtin Jack Casey Booth aka JJ, Greyson Luis Valdivia, Tristan Gene Lavern, and Zion Rivers Valdivia, and a host of extended family and friends.
