Douglas James Taperek Sr.

Douglas James Taperek Sr., age 63 of Harrison Township, Michigan passed away on July 31, 2021. He was born on May 23, 1958, to the proud parents of Gregory E. Taperek and Elizabeth A. Taperek. Douglas was the beloved dad to Lori (Ross) McNicol, Denise (John Keith) Taperek-Keith, Gregory Taperek and the late Douglas Taperek Jr. He was the cherished grandpa to Tyler Taperek, Kymberly Shaffer, Austin Shaffer, Jaycee Shaffer, Sally Keith, JD Taperek, and Chase Taperek. Douglas is the proud great great-grandfather of 9. He is the dear brother to Kathy (the late Ruggles) Bushnell, David Taperek and the late Duane Taperek. Douglas will be missed by many family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 5, 2021, beginning with a gathering at 9:00 am, until time of service at 10:00 am, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday August 4, 2021, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
