Amrit Kaur Bhullar

MRS. AMRIT KAUR BHULLAR, age 82, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born on December 27, 1937 in Tarn Taran, Punjab, India to the late S. Baghel Singh Dhillon & Smt. Lachman Kaur Sandhu. Amrit graduated from Punjabi University Patiala and received her Masters degree. She taught High school for over 30 years years in India, and moved to the United States in 1985.

Amrit was a long time member of the O.P.C. and Lifetime Fitness in Rochester, and had an exterme passion for education, exercise, travel, music, reading, politics and news. She was married to Capt. Surat Singh Bhullar, WWII Vet (Burma), who preceded her in death in 1998. Amrit is survived by: Sons, Col. Harbhajan Singh Bhullar, Maj. Gurcharan Singh Bhullar and his wife Paramjit Bhullar, Maj. Inderjeet Singh Bhullar and his wife Dipali, Daughters, Dr. Harbhajan Grewal and Her husband Bikramjit Singh Grewal, Ravi Bhullar Gill and her husband Surjit Singh Gill, Grand Children; Bittu Bhullar and his wife Harjot Bhullar, Dr Jasneet Bhullar and his wife Dr. Suman Bhullar, Nikku Bhullar and his wife, Simmi and her husband, Col Pawanjit Bhullar and his wife Dr. Aman Bhullar, Dr. Hermanjit Singh Grewal his wife Monika Grewal, Inderpreet Kaur Grewal her husband Jagdeep Singh Grewal, Jennifer G. Weinman her husband Jared Weinman, Dr. Jasper Singh Gill his wife Dr.Gurpreet Kaur Gill, Dr. Major Preetinder Singh Bullar (USAF) and his wife Dragana Bhullar, Neha Mohan her husband Dr. Aaron Sherraden, Raghav Mohan and Justis Gill and fourteen great grand children.

She will lie in state at the funeral home Wednesday January 8th, from 9 am to 9 pm, and Thursday at 9 am to 12 pm.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 9th, 2020, at 12 pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 E. University Drive, Rochester. Cremation to follow at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.
