Pinecrest Memorial Park cemetery

Originally a dairy farm, Pinecrest Memorial Park sits at the geographical center of Arkansas. The cemetery was founded by John C. Thomas in 1929, shortly after the stock market crash and the beginning of the Great Depression.

A resting place with abundant natural beauty

Pinecrest is truly a place to pause and reflect on nature. Gently rolling lawns overlook winding pathways. Various species of trees, a small pond and even wildlife contribute to the beauty of the 220-acre cemetery property.

With a range of burial accommodations, Pinecrest Memorial Park comprises 22 gardens, including lawn crypts, mausoleums, a family estate garden, cremation gardens and many other feature gardens. Some of the gardens have hand-carved sculptures imported from Carrara, Italy. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the grounds.

Cemetery for veterans

The Veterans Field of Honor at Pinecrest Memorial Park honors veterans of the U.S. armed forces with 2 dedicated gardens and a statue of the 4 branches of service. We display American flags whenever a veteran's service is held, as well as on Memorial Day, Flag Day and Veterans Day holidays, when free American flags are available in our office for placement on veterans' graves.
