A modern Castle Rock funeral home 

Located on Jerry Street in historic downtown Castle Rock, our 8,500-square-foot funeral home opened in 2022. It has the modern amenities and flexible space today's families want to celebrate the lives of their loved ones. With a comfortable Colorado design, the building features calming colors, natural stone, chandeliers and an abundance of natural light.

There are two entrances—one on Jerry Street and the other from a private parking lot behind the building. When you enter from Jerry Street, you are met with a spacious lobby area and lovely stone fireplace. Two private arrangement rooms have conference-style seating.

The funeral home has two venues in which to hold a service or reception. The primary venue is an open, flexible option, comfortably accommodating 150 guests. It includes projectors for personalized slideshows and videos. It opens to a patio, which is a nice spot for guests to take in some fresh air. A catering kitchen sits adjacent to the main venue, making things easy for food and drink service. It has plenty of counter space, double dishwashers, microwaves and a full-size refrigerator.

The secondary venue offers a more intimate setting for up to 75 guests. It's ideal for smaller visitations or private family moments. Warmed by a fireplace, the space is equipped with surround sound for custom playlists, and streaming music is available.

Our historic Castle Rock funeral home

Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel is Castle Rock’s second-oldest business. The funeral home stands in a prime location near the heart of downtown, by the old train station depot. 

The original building housed Littleton Creamery Company in the 1890s. As the need for dairy production slowed, the owner sold the creamery to the Livingston family in 1920. They turned the building into a funeral home. 

In 1938, C. Douglas Andrews assumed operations, passing it on to his son in 1974. In 1984, John and Carol Andrews transferred operations to Loys and Mattie Caldwell and Bob Gibson. By 1994, Andrews Caldwell Gibson became Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson. That's when our location became part of the Dignity Memorial^® family.

After celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2020, we started construction on a new facility. Today, we are proud to continue a longstanding tradition of compassionate, personalized service and care to families across Colorado with modern conveniences and technology.
