From the moment you step into Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, you are met with a comfortable, accommodating space. Our funeral home relocated to our current facility in April 2019 to better assist the families we serve. With ample parking, new flooring, neutral colors, flexible areas, a modern feel and more, we are best equipped to accommodate your needs and wishes.

Our arrangement room provides a private setting in which to meet with a funeral service associate to discuss all final arrangements. We also have a large coffee lounge, two visitation areas and a spacious chapel with pew seating and full audio-visual capabilities. For families and guests who wish to gather before or after the service, our event room is fully customizable and can be arranged to your liking. We offer a full range of catering selections and are happy to arrange food and drink on your behalf.

History

Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home and Cremation Services was established in 1936 when Mr. Rickets built Ricketts Funeral Home in La Grange, Kentucky. Rickett’s grandson, Richard Radcliffe, became the owner upon his grandfather’s death in 1949. After several years, Radcliffe Funeral Home merged with Adkins Funeral Home to become Adkins Radcliffe Funeral Home. In the 1970s Adkins retired and, once again, the funeral home was called Radcliffe Funeral Home.

In 1990 Arch L. Heady III purchased the home and changed the name to Arch L. Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home.

Today, we are members of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. For more than 80 years we have served the La Grange community with honor and dignity and will continue to help families during their time of need for many more generations.
