Georgianne M Danko
Georgianne grew up in Western New York. She had early aspirations of becoming a funeral director in elementary school after witnessing the funeral procedures following the death of her neighbor. After earning a degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, she decided to pursue her true passion: funeral service.
She graduated from the State University of New York Canton with a mortuary science degree in 1995. A few weeks later, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked at a group of funeral homes that would eventually join the Dignity Memorial® network. Over the next 8 years she served the communities of Maricopa County as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Georgianne transferred to San Diego, California where she lived and worked for a few years before continuing upward to Los Angeles County where she has been since 2006.
Georgianne is honored to help with her skills, even the most challenging of situations, and has been deployed to a mass fatality disaster while serving on an emergency disaster response team. She is an admirer of the arts, a supporter of animals, a member of the D.A.R. and participates in beach beautification.
