Traditional funerals with burial remain a classic choice, as contemporary upbeat Celebrations of Life^® grow in popularity. Military funerals honor those who served our country. At Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. Warm and welcoming, our chapel serves guests of all faiths, cultures and backgrounds. Let us take care of the catering so you can spend more time with family and friends. Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers World Airport allows us to welcome guests from all around the world, and we are especially convenient to our neighboring communities of Mustang, Tuttle and Yukon. History

Serving Okies since 1966

Bill Eisenhour founded Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers in Del City, Oklahoma, in 1966. Bill’s brother Harold was already in the funeral profession in Blanchard, Oklahoma, so he purchased a small residence at 5005 Southeast 29th Street and converted it into a funeral home. Bill and Harold’s brother, Lloyd, joined them in what became a family business.

Construction on the 1st chapel

As Eisenhour Funeral Homes grew, so did the need for new facilities. In 1969, they added their first funeral chapel to better serve more families. In 1970, the northeast location was constructed, and they grew to serve more families than any other funeral home in eastern Oklahoma County.

More construction and new crematories

In 1978, the northeast location at 8805 Northeast 23rd Street was completely updated and remodeled, and a new chapel was constructed. A remodel of the southeast location took place in 1982. In 1996, a state-of-the-art cremation and embalming facility was built. Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes installed the first and only crematory in Eastern Oklahoma County. In 2003, the business added a second crematory.
