Born June 19, 1926 in Santurce, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of Angel and Luisa (Estrada) Rodriguez. Before getting married to her husband Alfredo, she worked at the AFF power company in Puerto Rico. Then she became a loving and devoted mother to her children as well as a fantastic designer/seamstress sewing beautiful garments for her sister Ada and her daughter.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Alfredo and is survived by her children, Lizbette and Alfredo Jr., her granddaughter Carenina Motion (Michael), her great grandson Michael Kilian Motion, her sister in law Providencia, her nieces and nephews, Manuel, Moraima (Rafael), Lizzette(Rex), William (Teresa) and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, May 9 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 530 Elizabeth Street, Ann Arbor. There will be visitation from 9:30 until time of Mass. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
