Ray is survived by; mother Carolyn Brown and father Danny Brown; sister Debbie Brown (Steven) and sister Christina Owens (Joe) and several nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his grandparents Joy and Harold Brown, Emmitt and Beatrice Maddox, brother Daniel Wayne Brown, brother-in-law Brian Kelly Wilson and niece Kylee Rudd.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11:00am at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Griffith and Rev. Jeremy Griffith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Josh Swope, Jason Swope, Joe Owens, Steven Ledbetter, Tyler Wilson, Jessie Borders and honorary pallbearers are Mark Brown and Shane Brown.
Ray was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was sure to make anyone smile with his laugh, crazy ways and funny jokes. He loved his family more than anything and sure was a mommas boy. He rarely ever met a stranger and if someone needed help he would be the first to volunteer, he was always putting others before himself all the way to stopping at every red cross station any chance he could He loved to fish, hunt, play xbox dirt track cars and was one of the biggest Alabama fans you could ever meet (ROLL TIDE) There was one thing for sure about Ray he was himself at all times and if you ever met him you could truly never forget him! He left a smile on everyone's face, if he knew you were in a bad mood he was sure to cheer you up! He loved his nieces and nephews dearly his face would light up just playing with them. Ray will forever be loved and dearly missed by his family and friends!
