Gibson, Betty Lois, 81, of Ashland, passed away on March 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gibson. She is survived by her children, Francis E. Uzzell, Jr. Deborah Gardner, Donna Layell (Teddy), and Robin Watts; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother-in-law, Morris Lee Gibson; and nephew, J.R., Chappell (Ann Raye). The family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Nelsen Funeral Home-Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005, where services will be held at 11am on Monday, April 3, 2017. A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Bethlehem Christian Church cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
